This week, I was very drawn to two verses of scripture. They are verse 4, and 5 of Psalm 103. It is my experience that when you read and meditate on the Word of God, it becomes life. The Living Word of God is life because God is alive. Who needs the fountain of youth when God in His mercy meets us where we are at. He, through the Holy Spirit, opens up our understanding of the passages of scripture in the Bible, as in humility and surrender we look to God to be our standard of truth. There is such freedom in receiving and excepting God to be God of your life. He is the answer to every question.
"Who redeems your life from pit (every thing ugly in your past including a moment ago) and He crowns you with love and compassion, He satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's (who needs the fountain of youth when we have the redemption of God at work in our life)
Psalm 103:4, 5 What a gift!
Speaking of gift, the above picture is of #My Inspirational Gifts latest bookmark. The picture to the left is just the beginning intro to a 2015 Pop Heart Greeting card by none other than, #My Inspirational Gifts.
Are you or someone you know fighting discouragement, despair or looking for an #inspirational bookmark with a promise of God on it? Then by all means, get this bookmark. I have read this verse so many times this week and each time the truth in these words has sent me soaring... I just had to make it into a bookmark.
This new growing trend of creating lettering to speak a message by the way the lettering and words are creatively put on a page, is awesome. I took the opportunity to try it in this bookmark. I was so inspired, I have added canvases with scripture and verse to the My Inspirational Gifts product line. If only I had more wall space to display them all. Oh well. Guess I'll have to sell some. (wink)
Speaking of inspirational, have you heard the Selah Radio Broadcast? Hosted by Pastor Frank (my awesome Dad) every Mon-Fri - on WEZE 590 AM and WROL 950 AM - Boston and others? You will be blessed with more inspiration than you can imagine. I am loving learning radio broadcasting. Thanks Dad!
Until next time
Judy
