Some days you wake up and you wish you were a child again.
That was me today. I woke up with some heavy stuff on my mind. I had to give it back to God to carry. He doesn't need me to carry the burdens. He desires me to have a child-like faith, tell Him about what concerns me (like a child to their parent) and leave the heavy stuff in His hands just like I Peter 5:7 says, Casting all your cares, worries, concerns on Jesus, because He cares for you.
Guess what that translates to mean? I get to be the child. Woo hoo! You do too. It sure is easier to let your creativity fly when you aren't laden down with heavy stuff you have no control of and can do nothing about. God leaves us to pray, listen, wait and watch Him be His faithful self and do the impossible.
Consider it done! (pause for a deep sigh of relief)
About a craft to share today...
Since I I woke up wishing I were a child again, I thought I would share with you a craft kids love.
I first made them for a fall craft fair last year. I also gave one to my niece. Her Mom wrote me and says she loves it! Maybe you would like to bless a child and make them a silly wand. I used lots of small pieces on mine but you don't have to.
Introducing....Silly Wands! (The rest of this organized mess is some of what I packed of product to take to the craft fair.

You need a smooth 12" wooden stick or tight plastic tubing, scissors, Colored foam, 1 pkg of glitter foam letters, tacky glue, googly eyes, 4" fabric leafs or other embellishments, fine glitter for the edging is optional , and lots of different ribbon or all widths.
1 Cut 2 of the same shapes you want from the colored foam per stick
2 Glue to your wooden or other stick
3 Go for broke decorating it and making it look ridiculously silly
4 Attach all different length and strands of ribbon under your shape so they hang down and do in all sorts of crazy
directions when you wave it.

Sorry about the photo quality on this one. I deleted my original photo in error. This is a pic of a pic.
When I gave this gift to my niece, I included a pretty blue stoned tiara and gave the silly wand matching colored stone earrings.
