As one who loves God and desires His plan for my life, daily I learn to want God's plan for my life more than my own. I ask God to teach me everyday how to embrace trusting and #waiting on Him like it is the greatest opportunity I will ever be given. Truth is- I am not always patient. Truth is, to wait for what God calls as "best" really is the best.
In so many Bible passages, God asks His followers to "be of good courage and wait." Wait for what? His timing and choice for our lives on everything.
When God asks us to wait, it is no tease. It is no game. He loves us. He holds His best for us in His hands. He has and knows all we could ever need. He is in control of the when, where's and how's of everything. He has such an amazing loving and gracious heart toward us. Did you know the very sound of our humble cry moves Him with compassion so much so, HE RISES to show us His compassion and rewards our trust with blessing.
Imagine, the love in the heart of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, His choice to rise from His heavenly throne and reach out to you today to show YOU His compassion...wow! Dear friends, you don't need to imagine it. It's truth. Humbly receive it as such. Believe it and reap the rewards of making this God-given truth- yours...forever and always.
All I can say is, "Who is man that You, God are mindful of us and care for us" Psalms 8:4.
"...What heart could hold the weight of Your love And know the heights of Your great worth." words from a worship song called Holy by Matt Redman.
Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.If you are waiting on God, be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart.
Psalm 27:14
God bless,
