Perhaps you have heard the phrase, "money doesn't grow on trees." Maybe money doesn't grow on trees but inspiring ideas, words to encourage, games for a rainy day... Those are things we can put in mini envelopes and hang from our Tree of Inspiration. How about crafting a Tree of Inspiration? It is easy, fast, fun and makes little to no mess to make one.
Hi all! As I mentioned, I have a fun fall craft for you. I call it the Tree of Inspiration because it can be used as a tool to inspire imagination, togetherness and fun when our kids need it most. By the way, this tree can be made on a shoe-string budget. Below are the basic materials needed.
The above picture shows you the basic materials you will need to make this craft with a few additions:
1) You will want an ornament hanger. (Christmas hooks work fine)
2) Some very thin string to attach to the mini envelopes so they can hang from the tree
3) You will want my PDF of the templates and the list of ideas for the tree's use
4) You will need construction paper to make fall leaves or a package or two of decor leaves from a Dollar Store or craft store
That is it for materials.
Imagine what great fun you can have making one of these and adding your own creativity and imagination.
For the step by step instructions of how to make the Tree of Inspiration see my post published in Bella Crafts Quarterly

Speaking of imaginations...mine went a bit wild this fall. I promised to unveil October 2, 2014, what my silly imagination cooked up. Well, today is October 2, 2014 so here goes...
In the wee hours of the morning today, Mr. & Mrs. Woot tied the knot. No worries! I took a lot of pictures for you.
This guest didn't want to miss anything.
Oh ya. This was the best seat EVER!
This is the Maid of Honor when she suddenly realized she forgot her slip!
That awkward moment when you are the Best Man and you are not sure if you remembered the rings.
The Ring Bearer in a nervous moment holding on to that pillow heart for dear life.
The moment you face the crowds.
Sweetness at it's best.
"I do"
