Illustrators like me, like to take their logo pic and change it up a bit to keep it new and fresh.
My logo is a pic of an excited package...an unspeakable gift, if you will.
I was inspired to draw this based on the verse in the Bible II Cor. 9:15. All I had to do was read the phrase, thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift and- well, you see what happened. LOL
Obviously the writer in this passage of scripture is not speaking about the kind of gift I drew but it came to my mind and fits perfectly in my world (wink).
The pic below is of a water color version of my logo. I experimented with dry on wet and wet on dry. l learned this technique in the free water color painting courses offered by Strathmore Online Workshops. (Great classes btw and the teachers are the best! They take the time to answer your Q&A's personally. They give you a spot on Flickr to display your work. Definitely worth checking it out.)
Any way, I tried to paint a likeness of an explosion of wonder, inspiration, excitement, and so on, using a lot of bright colors behind and around the package.
